Welcome To Westholme House

Westholme House 1
Westholme is located ten minutes North of Duncan on a five acre parcel. Westholme house is home to five very unique fellows. Our property has numerous different fruit trees and grapes growing around the property. We also have a large garden full of fresh vegetables that we share between our homes.
Westholme House 2
Also on our beautiful five acres we have a woodlot that is part of our Community Inclusion program it is called the "VITALS Wood Project". The wood project employs four individuals we support. They also donate out in the community to people less fortunate.

The fellows here at Westholme also participate in our Community Inclusion program. They keep very busy with their programs; going to Monday morning music at the Moose Lodge, swimming twice a week, walks at various different locations, bowling, billiards, gardening, baseball in the summer socializing out in the Community with friends and family.

They also do their own grocery shopping and personal shopping in their Community. The fellows keep busy on their evenings and weekends as well. They like to attend the Juan de Fuca dance on Wednesday evenings and the Pub on weekends to listen to music, dance and socialize with their friends. They also go to the different events that are on around the Cowichan Valley like Special Woodstock, The Folk Fest, Operation Track Shoes, Duncan Days and so forth. In the summer they love to go to the lake and spend the day swimming, having a picnic with their friends.

Westholme House 5
Everyone gets together for Birthday parties, picnics, dinner/lunch gatherings off and on all year long. We all go to camp twice a year in the Cowichan Valley and it's a great time for all.
Westholme House 6
They have games of baseball at camp, fishing, treasure hunts, lots of walks, even swimming in the Cowichan River (weather permitting), roast wieners and marshmallows on the fire. Everyone loves when camp comes. We often invite other people in the Community to come out for a game of Baseball and stay for lunch. We all get together and celebrate special holidays like Easter, Canada Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and New Years.
