VITAL Society Welcomes Members VITAL Society was established in 1991, in response to the closure of the institutions. Since then, we have expanded our array of services to meet the current needs of the Cowichan Valley. We provide customized employment, staffed residential, semi-independent living, home sharing services, and community inclusion programs to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health concerns and behavioral challenges. We are seeking individuals who would like to make a commitment to our Society and ensure the continuation and growth of our organization and the individuals we serve.
